Photogaphs do paintings no justice!
This piece is my portrayal of the giant burning ball in the sky that is the sun. The weather has always had a huge effect on the quality of my days; I tend to be in a better mood, and have better days when the sun is out. Generally, the sun is associated with warmth and happiness, so I felt it would be a great muse for my emotion-base concentration. My intention was to use the warm, bright colors, complemented by the gentle smile and wide eyes, to give this piece an energetic, fiery, spirited feel. Acrylics on premade mask. Theme: Emotion. For studio art class. |
